Vivek Oberoi, the actor from Bollywood, has been officially declared a cast member of Spirit, which is the forthcoming Telugu cop action thriller drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film will headline Prabhas and will be the very first cooperative effort of the two heroes. Oberoi, through social media, made a public announcement of his participation, and he was very positive about the project. He wrote, “Super kicked about bringing this action to life with your unmatched magic,” addressing Prabhas. The news was released just after the ‘SOUND -STORY’ teaser provided for the film, which was screened on Prabhas’s 46th birthday, which was celebrated by fans.

Fans Excited for Vivek Oberoi’s Villainous Comeback

Vivek Oberoi’s father, the veteran actor Suresh Oberoi, was cast in Vanga’s last hits Kabir Singh (2019) and Animal (2023) and has taken the “lucky charm” tag of the director. It is rumoured that the director is going to cast Suresh Oberoi in Spirit too, further corroborating his long collaboration with the director. Vivek was once their grateful one when he expressed, “I’m so thankful to Sandeep for insisting Dad be part of Animal– he called him his lucky charm since Kabir Singh”. Filming is expected to start in January 2026, after Prabhas wraps up his present projects.
