SRK’s To Play Anti-Hero in His Next Project With Pushpa Director Sukumar

You have seen SRK in many roles some as the antagonist while others as the protagonist. However, whenever he played the antagonist roles in Don, Baazigar, Darr, Fan, and Anjaam he brought out his versatility to the big screen. If the news is to be believed, soon you will see SRK in an anti-hero role on the big screen.

A major political action film by Pushpa director Sukumar might just have roped in SRK in an antagonist role. In this film, Shah Rukh Khan is said to play a raw character in a social issue-based film like Jawan. No confirmed announcement has been made from either side and both SRK and Sukumar have a full calendar this year for any new projects.

Shah Rukh Khan’s next big project ‘King’ is in the works and stars Abhishek Bachchan, his daughter Suhana Khan, and the King himself. While Sukumar is working on the last installment of Pushpa 3 with Allu Arjun and RC 17 with Ram Charan.

Is Kangana Ranaut’s National Award Confirmed for Her ‘Emergency’ Performance?

Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency is now streaming on Netflix which has been getting mixed reviews on the internet. Among the review wars that are polarizing, a fan chimed in, saying that ‘Emergency’ deserves Oscars, “EmergencyOnNetflix should go for the Oscars from India. Kangana, what a film.

This led to Ranaut reposting the message on her social media account with a few words about the same: “But America wouldn’t like to acknowledge its real face, how they bully, suppress, and arm-twist developing nations. It’s been exposed in #emergency. They can keep their silly Oscar. We have National Awards (sic).”

While some fans are praising her acting in Emergency, proclaiming it is her best performance. Others said, “I may be in the minority who felt Kangana’s acting was caricature-ish in the entire movie. I didn’t find her “in character” except in the scene where she cries for Sanjay in the car.

Kangana overdid the ticks. Her Indira was weak, was startled easily, had no authority, and had no commanding voice….”

Another netizen writes, “Emergency proves 2 things about its director-actress – 1) Kangana is a talented but misguided actress 2) Kangana is a poor director. Kangana has nailed the look, mannerisms, and voice of the movie’s protagonist but she goes a bit overboard with the tics and mannerisms which end up making her characterization of the protagonist a bit caricaturish after a few scenes….” So do you feel Kangana overdid it in Emergency?
