Bollywood and drama go hand-in-hand. However, once in a while, Bollywood does bring out some good films and personalities to the limelight. One such personality is Shalini Passi, not an actor but an art collector and socialite with a heart of gold.
Bollywood, through its Indian version of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ AKA ‘The Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives’ Season 3, introduced Salini Passi to the world. Salini Passi, who rose to fame from this Netflix series and is known for her quirky personality, managed to capture the hearts of Indian audiences. She is a Delhi-based socialite and art collector who is known for her philanthropic activities and relatable character on the reality show.
Salini managed to impress the audience once again with her act of donating her acting fee from Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives to a Bihar village. She shares how she partnered with UNICEF to donate the amount for village development in Bihar and plans to do more.
She commented on the same, “This is a question that I’ve been asking everybody: Why am I born here? What is my purpose? As a human being, you do your best. My entire acting fee actually goes to a village through UNICEF in Bihar. Everything that I do, all my earnings go to charity. I work diligently with them.”
A Netflix reality series starring Bollywood famous wives, Neelam Kothari, Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Sajdeh (formerly Seema Khan), brought in three new additions to its Season 3 drama.
One was Salini Passi, wife of Pasco Group Chairman Snajay Passi; Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of Rishi Kapoor; and Kalyani Saha Chawla, a Delhi-based entrepreneur. Drama ensured when Shalini’s eccentric personality overshadowed other Bollywood wives in the latest series.
This resulted in ego clashes and judgmental comments from other cast members or Bollywood wives who targeted Salini. However, the Delhi-based socialite kept her calming personality intact throughout the show and promotion interviews, which impressed the audiences. So, when she donated her acting fee through UNICEF, it boosted her image among the fans.
