RJ Mahvash and Samay Raina’s latest podcast took a humongously witty turn when Samay started cracking jokes about Dhanashree Verma and her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal’s infamous and messy divorce. The duo was filming a brand campaign advertisement, but Samay’s humour once again broke the boundaries, leaving RJ Mahvash visibly uncomfortable.
Samay kicked off the segment by playfully mentioning his favourite letters – ‘U‘ and ‘Z‘ – a nod to Chahal’s nickname, Yuzi. He then joked about his own “Rise and Fall,” referencing the show Dhanashree is part of. The jokes escalated when Samay suddenly asked RJ Mahvash, “What’s half of ₹8 crore?” to which she hesitantly replied, “₹4 crore,” alluding to the reported alimony Dhanashree received from Chahal after their divorce.
The final straw came when Samay revealed a t-shirt reading “Be your own sugar daddy,” echoing Chahal’s exalted exit outfit after the divorce. RJ Mahvash, clearly taken aback, stood up and shouted, “Who bailed him out of jail?” Samay shared the moment on Instagram, tagging Chahal and writing, “Love you, my sugar daddy.” To which Chahal responded with a playful threat: “Be ready for one more case.”

While the segment was intended as light-hearted banter, it sparked discussions among people about the limitations of humour, especially when it involves real-life controversies. Though many netizens also think that this was fully scripted and was meant to attract our attention towards it through its quirky and unfiltered nature.
