A piece of heartbreaking news comes from the heart of Mumbai that Saif Ali Khan has been stabbed six times in his home in Bandra. A robber stabbed the Bollywood actor in a suspected home burglary incident on the night of 16th January. He got multiple injuries while protecting his family and his house; however, two of the stab wounds are critical.
At this moment he is undergoing surgery at Lilawati Hospital, where he was rushed to at 3:30 a.m. The incident took place at 2:30 a.m., and according to the latest reports, 2 hours prior, CCTV footage of his home didn’t show the burglar’s entry. So, the burglar was inside the house much earlier and waited for the right opportunity to steal.
A statement from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s team gives many details about the incident: “There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in the hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further, as the police are already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern.”

What is confirmed is that Kareena Kapoor was not present in the house as per reports, and the scuffle between the robber and Khan resulted in six stab wounds, two of which are serious. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, CEO of Lilavati Hospital, shared that a team of doctors is operating on him at the moment, and two wounds are serious and one specifically close to his spine.
