The Bollywood socialite who has hacked the internet algorithm to become somebody from nobody. Yes! We are talking about the one and only Orhan Awatramani AKA Orry. Orry became an internet celebrity overnight through socializing with Bollywood A-listers; now he is internet for something.
Orry’s antics are nothing new as his personality is as fake as his accent. From being rude to staff to hogging the limelight, his antics have been in the headlines now and then. However, with the latest news, Orry might just get canceled for real because now he is playing with religious sentiments by consuming alcohol and non-vegetarian food near sacred places.
Orry Booked For Drinking Alcohol Neer Vaishno Devi
On 15th March Orry got booked by the Jammu and Kashmir Police along with seven others for consuming alcohol in the sacred place of Katra near Vaishno Devi Temple. Eight accused including internet celebrity Orry are booked for “violating the law of the land” and “hurting the sentiments of people,” says, the police.
An FIR has been registered under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against the accused. A team has been set up to arrest the accused for violating rules in the region by consuming alcohol.
The Initial Complaint At Katra
Orry along with his seven other companions were staying at a hotel in Katra near Vaishno Devi Temple which is a holy Hindu Shrine where alcohol and meat consumption is prohibited. While staying at the hotel this group of privileged people consumed alcohol on the premises.
On 15th March the police got a complaint that some guests were consuming alcohol in the hotel and violating the rules of the hotel and region. Additionally, the complaint also mentioned that non-vegetarian food was also being consumed in the hotel. Soon an FIR was lodged under Section 233 and a group of police was deployed to arrest the accused.
Who are the Other Seven Accused?
The other complaints in the FIR who are accused of alcohol and non-veg consumption in the hotel alongside Orry are Anastasila Arzamaskina, Shagun Kohli, Darshan Singh, Rakshita Bhogal, Parth RainaRashi Dutta and Ritick Singh. If proven guilty these eight accused will get six months in jail, or 2500 in fine which is nothing for these privileged peeps.
