‘Tasva’ Fashion Show by fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani made a grand entrance in this wedding season by looping in Ranbir Kapoor as the showstopper. An entrance fit for the Bollywood royalty saw him entering the ‘Baaraat’ style fashion show in a vintage car complete with ‘Baraatis’ at the beats of dhols.
Ranbir starts the show with a festive atmosphere by shaking his leg alongside other models or his groomsmen and Tarun. Tarun Tahiliani shares his fall-winter festive collection of kurtas at the Tasva show, which includes kurtas to Indo-Western pieces.
The Tasva fashion show is a collaboration between Tarun Tahiliani and the Aditya Birla Group. Donning the look for the evening, Kapoor stunned in an intricate embroidery sherwani complete with sequence work. He draped a dupatta on his right shoulder while accessorizing with a traditional ‘padgi’ (turban) with pearl accessories. His feet were adorned with pink and ivory majori shoes.
Waving and blowing kisses, the Brahmastra star greets the crowd, who equally welcomes the star on the show. Folding his hands in gratitude, the show starts with a series of models displaying intricate pieces of kurtas, sherwani’s, and Indo-Western pieces of this season’s wedding.
Tarun Tahiliani shares, “We operate with a fundamental principle at Tasva: Indian men often claim that traditional clothes are uncomfortable. We are here to show that they can be both comfortable and beautiful when made with the right craftsmanship. Tasva brings together Indian and Eastern embroidery techniques with Western tailoring.”
Therefore, Tasva created a line of comfortable yet stylish traditional clothes fit for all auspicious occasions.
