Kapoors’ is a name every Indian is familiar with, just like Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. The legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary is set to be celebrated on 14th December 2024. This led to the Kapoors’ traveling to the capital to meet with the PM to invite him to the 100-Year Film Festival Celebration event in remembrance of Raj Kapoor.
The Kapoor clan met the Prime Minister on 10th December and personally invited him to the celebration honoring Raj Kapoor’s legacy in the Indian film industry. In attendance were Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, and other Kapoor family members.
The first image of the meeting shows Kapoor’s family posing for a picture with the PM. However, the most talked-about picture is of Kareena Kapoor Khan taking an autograph of PM Modi. The picture makes us realize that meeting the PM is also a rare opportunity for Indian cinema royalties like the Kapoors.
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared on her social media platform a picture showing her taking an autograph from the PM for her children, Taimur and Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan. The autograph is addressed to Tim and Jeh, the next generation of Pataudi, who also share the legendary Raj Kapoor’s bloodline.
The pictures are going viral online, showing highlights of the meeting with the PM, and netizens are appreciating the heartfelt note to little citizens of the country.
