Bollywood stars dazzle at Lakme Fashion Week 2024 at the heart of India, Delhi. From Miss Universe Sushmita Sen to royalty itself, Soha Ali Khan graced the ramp walk at the Lakme Fashion Week.
This October edition of Fashion Week showcased wedding and festive season elegant outfits by various designers. The Bollywood stars’ presence added the ‘oomph’ to the show with their presence and glamorous look for the evening.
Lakme Fashion Week 2024 is all about celebrating Indian fashion filled with creativity, diversity, and talent. So, the perfect way to start each show was to bring out talented celebrities from the Indian film fraternity to highlight the Indian intricate designs.
Major Indian actresses like Karisma Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Ananya Pandey became showstoppers for different brands. Dia Mirza, Sobhita Dhulipala, Shriya Saran, Tara Sutaria, Manushi Chillar, Alaya Fand Sangeeta Bijlani all turned heads at the show with their looks for the evening.
Shriya Saran opened the Lakme Fashion Week in an ivory Anarkali suit with intricate work of gold threads, complete with an Umrao Jaan-inspired look. She glided on stage and added an extra layer of elegance to the show with her Kathak performance. Tazhib marks 25 years of the designer, Payal Singhal’s celebratory showcase as Shriya turned showstopper for the brand.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari walked for Tarun Tahiliani’s statement festive collection and stunned the audience with a blue corset-style flowy gown. While Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker also walked the ramp and proved herself as a fashion icon.
Ananya Pandey turned showstopper for veteran designer Rohit Bal, who closed the Lakme Fashion Week 2024. She wore a black lehenga with a cape-style jacket and a bralette blouse. A contemporary lehenga with an autumnal touch of bold red roses adorned her lehenga and cape-style jacket.
In short, Lakme Fashion Week was a star-studded affair filled with big names from the industry and fashion world.
