Juggling a profession and studies isn’t a cup of tea for everyone, but it seems Kartik is that ‘Golden Boy’ who wants it all. So, after a successful film career graph that only elevates each day, he also achieved his degree in engineering.

Yes, it took him 10 years, but that’s understandable based on his profession, which is quite taxing. On 11th January 2025, the actor attended DY Patil University’s convocation ceremony to receive his degree. A video of the same has gone viral online where he is seen celebrating with fellow students and remembering his college days.

He also expressed his thoughts on the occasion, “I am just too excited, too happy to be here, to be back! From sitting on the backbench to standing on the stage for my convocation—what a journey it’s been! DY Patil University, you gave me memories, dreams, and now, finally, my degree (only took over a decade!). Thank you, Vijay Patil Sir, my incredible teachers, and the young dreamers here for all the love—this feels like coming home!”

During the convocation, his friendly exchange with students and faculty boosted the celebrations of the graduates. Kartik added his personal touch throughout his speech and interaction with the audience, creating several unforgettable memories for the students and attendees at the event.

Every Indian prides themselves on their degrees. So, with Kartik’s successful career along with an educational degree in one of the prestigious fields like engineering, he is winning big on the personal front. Professionally, he is thriving as well with several projects lined up with directors Karan Johar and Anurag Basu. However, until his next big release, let him bask in his academic achievement because it’s always better late than never.
