“Kaam Mila Kya Bhai?” Salman Khan Hit Back at Dabangg Director Abhinav Kashyap

During a recent Bigg Boss 19 episode, Salman Khan responded sharply to Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap’s repeated criticisms — asking if he has any work, accusing him of badmouthing others, and vowing never to collaborate with him again.

Salman Khan & Abhinav Kashyap

Salman Khan has finally taken the opportunity to bring to an end the growing war of words with the director Abhinav Kashyap—taking the director’s accusations as his target and shooting a public rebuke during the Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar.

The Feud Rekindled: What’s The Backstory?

The argument between Salman and Abhinav started many years ago. The director of the original Dabangg (2010), Abhinav, has little by little made claims that the Khan family ruined his career, made him a nobody in Bollywood, and used their power in the industry against him.

In recent interviews, he has even used very harsh words —calling Salman “bad-tempered,” “gunda,” and accusing his family of ruining his career. It seems Abhinav’s public comments became louder as his visibility in mainstream cinema decreased, which Salman pointed out in his answer.

Salman’s Rebuttal: “Did you get any work, brother?”

While on Bigg Boss 19, Salman carried out a game prompt given by the comedian Ravi Gupta then switched to addressing Abhinav indirectly: “Kaam mila kya bhai?” He accused Abhinav of constantly talking badly about others—asserting that the people he pulled into the controversy would get away from him.

Salman also made a more intimate appeal—saying that what really hurts him is that has “destroyed himself” through these moves. He urged the director to direct his energy into his family and artistic growth rather than attacking the Khan family. He also vows to never ever collaborate with Abhinav.

He also stood his ground like a man of honor: when Abhinav declared that Salman would be “on his knees,” Salman retorted that he already prostrates —only to God.

The making of the national-award winning and blockbuster film Dabangg is still a point of discussion even after 15 years of release. The director accuses the star of making the film’s production hell for him and the star accuses the director as a ‘liar’ by replying to him back on national television.
