Guess what Kartik Aaryan strikes again on Diwali 2024 with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Two power-packed Bollywood starrer movies, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again were released in the theaters during the Diwali Weekend. And finally, the verdict is out on both the films’ performances at the box office.
While Singham Again had big names from Bollywood like Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, that didn’t stop the Kartik Aaryan starrer from lagging at the box office.
The Goddess of fortune and luck seems to have blessed, Anees Bazmees’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 because the theatres were packed this weekend. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected 10.50 crore, while Singham Again trails behind with 10.25 crore on Day 6.
Both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Shingham Again, crossed the 100 crore mark, making both films a blockbuster hit in the domestic box office. However, on Day 6 of both releases, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 overtook Shingham Again with a slight margin.
Who would have guessed that Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit-starrer could overtake films starring big names of Bollywood? Anees Bazmees’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa seems to have much more power over Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Salman Khan-starring films.
While weekdays seem slow for both movies, however, both films gained momentum during the first weekend. A promising signal to the second-weekend footfall for both movies. Long gone are the days when people only preferred watching big names on the big scenes; now people want entertainment that helps them escape reality for a few hours.
So, most film releases take place during festivities and holidays so people can enjoy them with their families. Naturally, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a family movie, especially popular for its comic-horror genre, which made the audience opt for this movie during Diwali-Bhai Dooj weekend. Hence this movie fared well for the producers and its star cast.
