The Root of The Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy
The controversy started when Ranveer Allabadia judged India’s Got Latent show hosted by Samai Raina and asked a controversial question to one of the show’s contestants. The question was, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”
This question even shocked the host Samai Raina who reacted with a slag. The question in the controversy was not even an original but rather copied from an international podcast show, ‘OG Crew’s Truth or Drink.’ Soon this question led to a conversation online some calling the podcaster ‘perverted’ in his thoughts while others condemned the remark as ‘vulgar.’
However, things started escalating when the Guwahati Police lodged an FIR against Ranveer Allabadia and host Samai Raina along with other judges in India’s Got Latent Show Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Makhija and Jaspreet Singh. This led to talks about the show’s cancellation along with Ranveer’s BeerBiceps podcasts.
B Praak Cancellation of the BeerBiceps Podcast Adds Fuel To the Fire
Now as this controversy unfolds and charge sheets pile up, B Praak’s live video added more fire to the fuel. The now-deleted viral video by the singer where he lashed out at the podcaster Allabadia for his offensive questions. Additionally, B Praak announced his decision to cancel his appearance on the podcast BeerBiceps during the live.
However, a shocking revelation came about when Instagram pages called @thecarvakapodcast and @dostcast revealed the singer was never invited to the BeerBiceps podcast in the first place. Yet the singer went on to bash Raveer for the controversy and made fake claims that he called his appearance on the show because of the same.
No comments are yet to be made from the singer however, the Ranveer bashing video is still on his Instagram account. As the video goes B Praak said, “Radhe Radhe, doston! Kaise ho aap sab? Main na yaar, ek podcast mein jaane wala tha abhi, jo Beer Biceps ka tha, par humne cancel kar diya. Kyun? Kyunki aapko pata hai ki waha kaisi pathetic thinking hai aur kaise shabd use kiye ja rahe hain? Samay Raina ke show pe jo ho raha hai, yeh hamara Indian culture nahi hai. Yeh bilkul bhi hamara culture nahi hai.”
Adding further, “Ap apne parents ki kaunsi stories bata rahe ho? Aap unki kaunsi baatein kar rahe ho? Kis tareeke se baatein kar rahe ho? Yeh comedy hai? This is not at all comedy! Yeh stand-up comedy toh bilkul bhi nahi hai. Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana—yeh kaunsi generation hai? Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki yeh generation kaunsi hai.”
