‘Big B’ of Bollywood, Amithabh Bachchan, is all set to shake the theaters with Rajinikanth in his latest Tamil language film, Vettaiyan. Releasing on 10th this October, Vettaiyan stars Rajinikanth, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, and of course, the man himself, Amitabh Bachchan.
The much-awaited movie revealed seven characters through clips on social media. Lyca Productions, who is producing the film, used their social media platform to introduce Amitabh Bachchan as ‘Sathyadev.’ The clip offers a peek into his menacing character as Sathyadev in the movie.
The producer captioned the video clip with ‘the powerhouse of Vettaiyan’ highlighting Big B’s groundbreaking performance in Vettaiyan. Under the guidance of TJ Gnanavel, the director of the film Mr. Amitabh Bachchan marks his debut in Tamil cinema.
Senior Bachchan shared pictures from the film’s set with Rajinikanth and expressed his thoughts about him. On Instagram, Sr. Bachchan wrote that Ranjinikanth’s personality hasn’t changed from the day he met him and appreciated his down-to-earth personality. Both of these stars were last seen in the movie Hum in 1991.
The film was announced in 2023 with the title ‘Thalaivar 170’ because it is Rajnikanth’s 170th film as a lead actor. However, in December 2023, the official title was introduced as Vettaiyan. So, this movie makes it more special for Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan fans.
You are bound to get a power-packed performance with a star cast from the Bollywood, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. Although not much is revealed about the characters from the short clips, you are bound to get some drama and action from the starring cast members.
Melodies and soundtracks in Vettaiyan are being created by Anirudh Ravichander, who is a well-known music composer and singer in the Tamil industry. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s release this festive season and looking forward to Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth’s power-packed performance.
